A few a ways we seek to love our neighbor:
- Being a hopeful presence in our community
- Gathering for worship, study, and fellowship
- Giving in various ways to those in need
- Being part of international missions
- Prayer walking our neighborhoods
- Community service projects
- Helping those experiencing infant loss
- Serving in jail ministry
- Being a close church family who loves, supports, encourages, and challenges each other

November 12-19, 2018 was National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child
RVBC enjoyed our 5th year as an OCC Drop Off Center
854 Shoeboxes from
7 churches
1 organization
7 individuals/families from the community
11 volunteers
73 volunteer hours
RVBC families and friends collected 69 shoeboxes
36 were packed at our annual packing party)
OCC is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that collects, processes, ships, and delivers shoebox gifts to children all over the world! Each box goes with the Gospel message and they partner with the local churches to disciple kids and their families. They have distributed millions of hope filled shoebox gifts since 1993!
It has been a wonderful way for our small church to be involved in spreading the Gospel internationally!
